Meet the Pastors
In 1968, Masahiro (John) Kina was given a Bible during his time as a university student in the United States. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and began attending church. After graduation, he began working in a mission school as a teacher and office staff member. Later, John joined YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and served Jesus in Hawaii, the Philippines and mainland Japan. He married Kuniko in 1978. Three years later, in 1981, they startedOkinawa World Mission Church. During the beginning stages of planting the church, they spent a year in Australia and attended Life Ministry Bible College. They have now served God in Japan for 29 years.
Kuniko is the founder and principal of World Mission Christian School started in 1997 in Okinawa, Japan.
